Annmarie Pittman
Ms. Virginia Senior America 1998
Annmarie is a resident of Alexandria, Virginia and is a retired International Meeting Planner. She holds a B.S. Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Houston, Texas. She is past president of the Potomac Chapter of Meeting Professionals International.In her local community, she served as President of the Board of Directors of the Arlington Dance Theatre and as Chair of the City of Alexandria's Arts Commission. After her selection as Ms. Virginia Senior America, she continues to serve that organization as Assistant State Director and Pageant Director. An active member of the Sacred Dance Guild, she performs locally with the Potomac Sacred Dance Group and participates in workshops and annual international festivals. She is also a volunteer course monitor and local tour guide at the Smithsonian and a tour guide for the Arlington Seniors Program. On the national level, her involvement with the Ms. Senior America Pageant includes her selection as one of the first Konze Award winners for her work with a Dance Theatre of Harlem/Kennedy Center Outreach Program for Youth, her appointment as Judges' Chairperson at the 2000 National Pageant and her selection as Candidate Coordinator for the 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 National Pageants held around the country. Ms. Pittman is Treasurer of the Senior America Cameo Club, the national support organization for the Ms. Senior America.

The 1998 Ms. Virginia Senior America contestants and winners with the Ms. Virginia Senior America, Annmarie Pittman. Joyce Reilly Clautice, Alexandria, was first runner up; Lorraine J. Bennett from Fairfax, second runner up; and Antionette Fischman from Alexandria was fourth runner up.
